Cleans and Dries Its Mops: The mops are lifted automatically when returning to the base station to ensure your floors stay pristine. Automatic mop cleaning immerses the mops in water and spins them at high speed against grooves in the removable base plate to dislodge dirt.

The charging dock automatically empties the dustbin into a larger dust bag, a feature we appreciated. We also liked that the dustbin includes a HEPA filter that’s simple to pop out for washing or replacing.

Its size means that it can reach most spaces with ease, plus its sensors work very well and ensure that it doesn't learn its way around just by bumping into furniture.

Another benefit is that robot vacuums are short enough to slip under the bed or couch. Because most feature side brushes to help scoop dirt from corners and edges, they can also vacuum along the walls to clean crevices that you might often skip or that your regular vacuum can’t reach.

It's also packed with handy features such as its upgraded AdaptLift chassis that allows easy access over tall thresholds (without getting stuck). The App was easy to set up, map and schedule routines. More importantly, the Orevo Curv excelled in the majority of our tests.

Some robot vacuums do however feature self-emptying functions, where dirt and debris are emptied into their charging base/ home point, which again will need to be emptied but on a less regular basis.
